This guitar strap is made with a very soft & silky hair-on-hide calfskin, with colors ranging from light beige to dark brown.
This is applied over a supple smooth chocolate brown cowhide , and is glued & edge stitched with black thread that is nearly invisible, leaving the adjustment slot area to show off the main strap cowhide.
The peg hole for the main strap the hair tips have been cut to make it easier to see for fitting securely onto your instrument, and it also shows the darker base of the hairs.
The main strap is 2.5", tapering down to about 2" at the front peg hole, and less of a taper to about 2.25" on the slot end.
The 1" wide adjustment strap is made with the same leather as the main strap so it can weave through the adjustment slots easily, but it is still firm, and will not stretch. The edges are trimmed with a small radius bevel tool to soften the look. The cowhide has a suede split underside, so it will not slide out of position on your shoulder.
The overall length of this strap as shown is adjustable from about 48" to 58". The main strap is about 42" long, and the 11 slots are spaced from about 29" to 40" from the front peg hole. The adjustment strap is 18" from slot to its rear peg hole when installed. (I refer to the front peg hole being on the main strap, and the rear is the adjustment slot).
The 1" wide adjustment strap loops through the chosen slot and is woven through the other slots to provide the desired length and fixes to the back pin on the guitar. This has been laser etched with my logo.
The holes for the pegs are punched at 5/16" in the front, and 3/8" in the back, and a small slit ends with a small hole at the top of the slit to prevent tears & the "keyhole" effect makes the strap easier to install & remove, and can accommodate most pegs. The firm leather and stitching around the front peg hole keeps strap to remain secured once it's fitted fully in place.
This design means the strap is only leather, and there is no metal or plastic hardware that could annoy you while you're playing, or your knock into you instrument while it's being moved or stored.
I can also provide leather "laces" if you prefer to tie the strap to the neck of the guitar, rather than using a front peg. And if you have a specific peg size you need to fit, please let me know. There is no extra charge for enlarging the peg holes or for the ties when you order the strap, but please note in the order if you want any of those changes.

I only use your address for shipping, and only contact you regarding your order (usually per Etsy convo), or from conversations that you have initiated.
I respect your information, and do not share it with anyone, outside of what is necessary to create your order's shipping label--and nearly all are via Etsy labels, so it's information you have already placed in the Etsy system.
I do retain hard copies of order and label receipts for a time necessary for my tax processing, but I then do obliterate these hard copies.
