Peacock Ribbon over Black Leather Guitar Strap

  This unique OOAK strap is made with a vintage woven ribbon of Peacocks in red, pink & orange with green for the feather "eyes" and flower stems on black base, and is 2 3/8" wide and 14" long for 3 full birds. The ribbon is sewn along the edges to a thick black cowhide, and the ribbon may appear wrinkled until there is weight on the strap--this is so the ribbon looks flat and smooth, and the threads aren't stressed during use.
  
  The ribbon starts about 6" from the front peg hole and stops about 7" from the first slot.
  
  The leather is oil tanned, and is nearly 1/8" thick, but is supple and tough, with a top grain matte finish. The edges are trimmed with a small radius bevel tool to soften the look. The hide is through-dyed, so it is consistent color on the edges as on its split underside.
  
  The strap is my "standard" length, which is about 42" long, with front peg about 1" from end and 11 slots spaced 1" apart, and the 1" wide adjustment strap is 18" from slot to its rear peg hole when installed, and overall length will be about 46" to 56". (I refer to the front peg hole being on the main strap, and the rear is the adjustment slot).
  
  The holes for the pegs are punched at 5/16" in the front, and 3/8" in the back, and a small slit ends with a small hole at the top of the slit to prevent tears & the "keyhole" effect makes the strap easier to install & remove, and can accommodate most pegs.
  
  This design means the strap is only leather, and there is no metal or plastic hardware that could annoy you while you're playing, or your knock into you instrument while it's being moved or stored. And I've laser etched my Acoustic Needle brand logo onto the exposed section above the peg hole.
  
  I can also provide leather "laces" if you prefer to tie the strap to the neck of the guitar, rather than using a front peg. And if you have a specific peg size you need to fit, please let me know. There is no extra charge for enlarging the peg holes or for the ties when you order the strap, but please note in the order if you want any of those changes.
